It took me awhile to get over father's death but I'm ok now. I studied hard and got into a good secondary school, I have not forgotten my promise to myself, with every piece of work I do i am one step closer to fulfilling my promise. the family is coping very well now. I am in the army doing my National service, on I rarely see Ah Hock on weekend when i leave the camp, mother says he is busy working and studying to qualify as an electronics technician, i wonder if he passed the examination hopefully he did. Seven years have already passed and we managers to survive through those hard times. i now see the importance of education, Ah Hock could not receive proper education and now it is difficult for him to get a good job, fortunately, the rest of us were able to complete our education all thanks to Ah Hock. Ah Hock made a huge sacrifice for us , I wonder if i will ever be able to repay him. what would things be like if father did not pass on? What would change? I guess we will never know the answer to that.
