I'm so sad father passed on I miss him so much. I must study hard now so I can get a good job in the future and help mother and Ah Hock to earn money for our family so they would not be so stressed. Ah Hock made a huge sacrifice to ensure that Ah Kee, Ah Nya, Ah Lin and me can continue studying and get a good education. I see the tired look on Ah Hock's face whenever he comes home from work, but he says that it was very fun. However I know my brother, he is just saying that to look tough I can tell that the job is very tiring. In school, some of my friends ask about my father and I get very emotional even at the thought of it, I get that they are just trying to cheer me up and I am grateful for their efforts but sometimes wish that my friends would stop bringing up this topic. At times when i think about my father, i wished so badly that i was the one who died instead of him. If I died it would have been better for everyone, father would not have to work so hard to support six people and Ah Hock would have been able to complete his education
